Friday at 4:00
December 3, 2021
From the Desk of Dr. Rodriguez
It's the most wonderful time of the year! Our students are spreading holiday cheer, discussing interesting plans to see far-away family members, and anxiously awaiting the moment they can participate in their favorite holiday traditions. Our students are also keenly aware of the fact that not all children are as lucky as they are when it comes to the holidays. Our annual Holiday Toy Drive is always a success because of the generosity of our families, and we know we can count on you to continue the tradition of bringing big smiles to those children most needy in our community. Below is the flyer for our Toy Drive with information to purchase toys for students in particular age ranges.
Have a wonderful weekend, and you can expect our next edition of Friday at 4:00 in one week!
Sincerely,
Dr. Rodriguez
Special Events and Friendly Reminders
We will begin collecting toys for our annual Holiday Toy Drive on Monday, December 6. Please make sure to read the directions on the sign-up sheet and label your gift with the receiving child's name.
Our Holiday Store, sponsored by the Riviera Schools Parents Club, is next Wednesday and Thursday, December 8 and 9. Please send your child to school with money in the event he/she would like to purchase something.
Our Holiday Show Extravaganza -- "The RDS Ugly Sweater Holiday Par-tay" -- will take place the week of December 13. Please see the invitation below for specific grade level dates and times. All performances will take place in the Prep School campus auditorium.
Memories of the Past
Our holiday show is right around the corner, and we wanted to give you a sneak peek into what you should expect. Enjoy some pictures from our "Good Grief, Charlie Brown -- it's the Holiday Show!" where some characters from the Peanuts cartoon graced us with their presence to sing some beloved holiday songs. We can guarantee the "Ugly Sweater Holiday Par-tay" will be just as adorable!
