Discrimination

Religion

What does it mean?

Discrimination is the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or things. There are many forms of discrimination for example, religion. The discrimination of a religion is when someone treats a person/people unfairly because of their religion.

Examples In U.S History

If Donald Trump becomes our President, he says he will put name tag on Muslims just like the Jews in Germany. This was said in a political channel during a debate. This means that Muslims are categorized differently because of their reputation. Also in the article, "The History Of Religious Conflict In The USA," it says that Mormons were arrested because of their beliefs.

Sum It Up

As you can see, people around the world are treated differently because of what they follow. People should not be treated differently just because of how they live their lives
