Distracted Driving Experience, Mr. Welch, Criminal Justice Lead Instructor
Distractology is a virtual reality simulation that allows students to see the dangers of distracted driving such as texting. Over 40 students had the chance to participate in the eight minute simulation that allowed them to see how dangerous it can be to text and drive. Students also had the chance during lunches to try on the drunk/drugged simulation goggles and try to walk through different obstacle courses. Special thanks to Jim Ross, Community Outreach Officer and his staff for coming out for the day to have this event.
