Young girls ages 13 -17 are invited to participate in a one-day mini-conference.
Keynote Speaker: Singer, songwriter, speaker, Deborah Bond
Workshops will cover:
1. It's about ME! (Self Efficacy and Self-Value)
2. Literally Speaking (Writing and reading); Facilitator - Tuwanda Jackson***
3. Future Building Blocks (Career Exploration - STEM Focus)
4. Girls Just Wanna Have Fun with Fitness; Facilitator - Brittani Haynes
Panel Discussion: Being A Girl! (special guests)
Registration fee: $5 until July 10/$10 at the door
***All participants will receive a book courtesy of Booked for Review.

Love, GIRLS Magazine (LGM) is a free quarterly publication distributed in Quad Cities, Memphis, TN, and Washington, DC/Maryland/Virginia. Our four core principles are represented by LOVE, which stands for Lead, Overcome, Value and Empower. LGM was started by an ambitious and courageous teen, Jasmine Babers in 2012. Since that time, she has been recognized nationally for her work to empower girls.

IN THE LOOP of Success
The IN THE LOOP Program is a program that provides rising high school juniors and seniors with support related to scholarships, post-secondary college options, career development and conflict management. In addition, IN THE LOOP also provides empowerment workshops and production opportunities for youth.
The GIRLS Empowerment Seminar is designed to expose young girls to activities that will assist them in gaining insight about themselves and the world around them.
