He invented the telegraph in the 1861.
Samuel had eleven siblings and eight died so he only had three leaved. The names of the siblings are unknown.
What was the invention
The telegraph was the invention. Samuel invented that in the 1844 and the united states had thousands of miles of telegraph lines which were controlled for the most part by the western union Telegraph company.At telegraph offices,trained operators transmitted messages in Morse code.Soon the telegraph linked the United States and Europe.
