The Latest

We did it!! We made it through the wildest, craziest, scariest, most difficult school year I can remember! I am so proud of our students, staff, teachers, PTA and families. Working together we accomplished great things. A quote I shared with the staff on our weekly memo was "A lot of people failed at what you have accomplished, simply because they were busy finding problems while you were busy finding solutions." I am so grateful for the determination everyone in looking for solutions!

Library/Take Home Books: All books are due! If your child still has a library or take home book, please return it to the school right away.

Last Day of School: Friday, May 28 is the last day of school. School will dismiss at noon. We will serve lunch one hour earlier than normal, however, students do not have to eat. If they choose to eat and select a lunch choice they must take a tray.

Registration: The registration window for 2021-2022 is now open. Each family must be updated in the system in order for us to register your child. For registration information and instructions, please go to our school web page, and click on the Registration button at the top. Students will not be placed into a class until the registration process is complete. This process also helps us determine how many teachers we need for each grade, so please complete this process right away if you have not already done so. If you have any questions, please call Natalie or Kim in the office.

Lost and Found: We have many items in our lost and found. This time of year we get lots of nice coats and jackets. If you are missing anything, please check the lost and found located in the north lobby.

Teacher Requests: I am not taking teacher requests for next school year. However, if you have educational concerns regarding your child, please feel free to call me at school to discuss these concerns. I prefer an in person visit or phone call as these discussions are very important. There is movement and change in each grade level, so specific teacher requesting is not feasible.

If you ever have any questions or concerns please feel free to give us a call or email.

Library Books Found over the Summer

The library book drop will be out side by the front doors over the summer. If you come across any library or take home books, please put them in the drop box.

I am, once again, in awe of the talent and production of our school musical. What an incredible job!! Over 1/3 of our 4, 5 and 6th grade students participated in the musical. I am incredibly grateful for the hours and hours of time devoted to this effort. I can not say enough good about the teachers and parents who support, help and direct this production. I am really grateful to our night custodial staff who spent extra hours cleaning and sanitizing. Magic happens when we all work together! Thank you, thank you!

Springville/Mapleton Summer BINGO
