Fifth Grade 1st Nine Weeks Performance Task
The student will create a product that communicates a detailed understanding of him/herself. In addition to a written interpretation, the product should include other avenues that demonstrate the child's expanded self awareness. Such awareness includes evidence of prior thinking, self reflection, purposeful decision making and justification about how the "self perception product" effectively communicates an accurate self image to others.
Fourth Grade 1st Nine Weeks Performance Task
Create a written product (diary, journal, newspaper, etc.) in first person that describes the adverse situation, including the person’s thoughts and feelings, and eventual outcome.
We will be studying World War II throughout our adversity unit.
Third Grade 1st Nine Weeks Performance Task
The student will create a personal gallery of various works of art that resonate with them as an individual. By evaluating and choosing the specific works of art they appreciate, students will gain insight into themselves. Additionally, the student will explain the reasoning behind the choices they made in creating their gallery.
