Afternoon Student Safety Concern
Our amazing PTSA has supplied the school with balls and other equipment for students to use at brain break so it is not necessary for students to bring balls to school. Parents, please help us with student safety by keeping the balls at home.
We appreciate your support.

Technology and Cell Phones
Even though technology use is a large part of our culture, there are still many times when it’s just not a good idea to use devices. Technology can only be used during class time at the discretion of the teacher. Additionally, technology is not allowed to be used during class transition, lunch, and brain break. Violations of technology use are considered Inappropriate Use of Technology and subject to our Ticket System. (STEM Academy Student Handbook)
Cell phones are causing significant distractions to the learning environment. Cell phones need to remain in the student’s pocket, purse, or book bag. Students are not allowed to have their cell phones out at any time during the school day without permission from a teacher or an administrator. This expectation has been communicated with students.
We appreciate the support of our parents.
Keeping Our Students Safe on Social Media
We encourage everyone, especially our students, to THINK before posting:
- T - Is it True?
- H - Is it Helpful?
- I - Is it Inspiring?
- N - Is it Necessary?
- K - Is it Kind?
