Sharing the Homeschool Heart

Sharing the Homeschool Heart...Owning Your Educational Choices.

Picking curriculum for your children can be a difficult task. Many times people want to know what I suggest, but I think the best suggestion is for you to learn how to find curriculums that will best suit your individual children. Do you have more artistic children? Analytical? Are they visual learners or kinesthetic? These questions are essential because they are what help you chip away at finding the root reason why you homeschool and how you homeschool your children individually. On our parent resource site for Riverside County, there are a few learning style quizzes you can utilize. Check these out here!

Additionally, remember to utilize our Riverside County Facebook group to search for topical conversations to gain insight from other parents. There are countless conversations about curriculum, philosophy of education, homeschool paths, and encouragement.

At Inspire, we hope to provide you with the best resources and information to utilize in creating a homeschool lifestyle that is desirable and accommodating for your family. If you have questions about anything, always feel free to reach out to Audrey and me to aid and assist you along this path. We love to share our ideas and thoughts, and we hope to help partner with you to create a future that everyone in your family can be excited about!

Happy Homeschooling!

This Week's OSP (Online Subscription Package): BrainPOP

The 2019-2020 Online Subscription Package (OSP) options are finalized, and we’re spotlighting every option - every week!

This week we look at BrainPOP. This is geared towards TK through 8th graders.

FAQ

Q: What kind of access to BrainPOP will I receive?

A: Our BrainPOP subscription is under a Virtual School license. By opting into BrainPOP you will receive student access and will be a member of the Inspire Classroom. Your student will have access to all content on the BrainPOP website and you will be able to track their progress through their Student Timeline.

Q: Does BrainPOP include access to BrainPOP Jr., BrainPOP Espanol, and BrainPOP Francais?

A: Yes, your student will have access to all four BrainPOP features: BrainPOP, BrainPOP Jr., BrainPOP Espanol, and BrainPOP Francais.

Q: Will my student's BrainPOP account from the 2018-2019 OSP roll over?

A: We were unable to rollover accounts from the 2017-2018 OSP, so we may not be able to roll over the 2018-2019 accounts either. We are currently working on a way to do this. Please check back for updated information on BrainPOP.

Audrey Everson

Hi everyone! I am a mom of 3 awesome kids ranging in age from 10 to 6 years old. My husband and I are high school sweethearts and have been married for 16 years. Having homeschooled our children over the last 7 years in 3 different states, I've found homeschooling here in California, especially with Inspire Charter, has been a great fit for our homeschool journey. I am grateful for our ability to homeschool so freely and I aspire to assist other families with their own homeschool adventures!

We want to hear from you!
