2021-2022 Course Selection Information

The WMS counselors have been available to help students/parents develop and review their 2021-2022 schedule through Naviance. We strongly encourage all parents to discuss options available to their student to help complete and confirm the course selection process.

***All plans must be submitted in Naviance by February 26th, 2021***

If for some reason you missed a presentation or a session with your counselor, we have provided all of the important links below for you to review.

If you still need assistance with inputting your child's schedule in Naviance, feel free to contact your child's grade level counselor or attend the Naviance make-up session.

Students access Naviance through the MyHumble portal.

What is Naviance?

  • Naviance is a comprehensive college and career readiness platform that enables self-discovery, career exploration, academic planning, and college preparation that you and your student can use to make plans about colleges, careers, and post-high school plans.

Naviance Student allows your student to:

  • Get involved in the planning and advising process – Build a resume, complete online surveys, and manage timelines and deadlines for making decisions about colleges and careers
  • Research colleges – Compare GPA, standardized test scores, and other statistics to actual historical data from our school for students who have applied and been admitted in the past
  • Research careers – Research hundreds of careers and career clusters, and take career assessments
  • Create plans for the future – Create goals and to-dos, and complete tasks assigned by the school to better prepare your student for future college and career goals.

Naviance Student also lets us share information with you and your student about upcoming meetings and events, local scholarship opportunities, and other resources for college and career information.
