What we're learning...
We have been busy preschoolers! We have covered 20/26 letters so far and numbers 1-10. The kids are getting better and better on writing their names their 'Kindergarten Way'.
Two weeks ago each student recorded their vote on their pick of the gender of my baby. After I found out, we looked back at our class votes and compared the results. We discussed the meaning of the words more and less. We also discussed that even though you may vote for something, the results may not be the same as you picked. Overall, the boys were correct as they all voted Mrs. Feuerhelm was having a boy.
The girls pretending to get their nails and make up done at the beauty salon by Kinsley.
Watching a movie and eating puff corn to celebrate filling up our 'Kindness Jar'.
Painting teeth white with toothbrushes!
On President's Day we discussed what a President does and why we have one. We also learned all about the White House and did a virtual tour of it online. Below is the kids' response to what they would do if they were president.
