Message from Principal Drew...

We look forward to welcoming all students and staff back tomorrow. We hope everyone had a restful and restorative Spring Break. As we come back to school tomorrow we will have 38 days of school left and only 33 days of school until final exams. Student attendance and attention to instruction will be two of the biggest keys to success as we enter the home stretch. Parents we look forward to your support and encouragement with these two key priorities. Let's bring a focus and determination to the final days of this school year that will allow everyone to be as successful as possible in the end.

A huge congratulations to Kaylee Coppersmith. Kaylee was selected to attend the North Carolina School of Science and Math. The North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics is a two-year, public residential high school with two physical campuses located in Durham, North Carolina and Morganton, North Carolina that focuses on the intensive study of science, mathematics and technology. Kaylee will be attending the Morganton Campus next Fall.

“Free sports physicals will be on May 12th for all rising 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders. Instead of doing the physicals at the high school, students will be bussed to the ECU Health Sports Medicine clinic in Edenton, NC. This will be considered a field trip and no students will be able to drive themselves as there is a certain schedule that needs to be followed. Physical forms and field trip forms went out this past week and will be due back to Ms. Amanda on April 21st. If you have not received your forms, please get up with Ms. Amanda after spring break.”
