Drive
A drive is a high-capacity, self-contained sorage device containing a read-write mechanism plus one or more hard disks, inside a sealed unit. Also called hard disk drive.
Monitor
A computer monitor (also called screen or visual display unit) is an electronic visual display for computers. The monitor comprises the display device, circuitry and an enclosure. The display device, in modern monitors is typically a thin film transitor.
CPU
A central processing unit (CPU), is the hardware within a computer system or a smartphone wich carries out the instructions of a computer program by performing the basic airthmetical,logical, and input/output operations of a system. The term has been in the computer since the year 1960.
RAM
RAM (random accces memory) is the place in the computer where the operating system, application programs and data in current use are kept so that they can be quickly reached by the computer's processor.
ROM
ROM is a chip that contains its contents even when the computer is off. ROM is referred to as being nonvalitile and RAM is referred to as being valatile.
Motherboards
A printed circuit board containing the principal components of a microcomputer or other device, with connectors into wich other circuit boards can be slotted.
