Meet Our Team!

The human resources department has welcomed many changes this summer! The department has realigned responsibilities, moved to the portable behind the administration building, and welcomed several new members. Stop by and see us!

Are you on track with TTESS?

  • Orientation was due by September 4.
  • Goal Setting & Professional Development plans are due to be entered & approved in STRIVE by October 17.
  • Now is the prime time to conduct 45 minute teacher observations.
  • All teachers who are new to the district must have had a 45 minute observation by November 22.
  • Walkthroughs - all teachers should have 2 documented walkthroughs before December 20.

New Hire Sessions

Throughout the summer, the HR department has teamed up with payroll to present twice-weekly new hire sessions. New hires have heard about:

  • Payroll procedures
  • Security protocols
  • Child Abuse Training
  • New Hire paperwork
  • Badges

HR will continue these sessions twice weekly, as needed throughout the school year in the new HR conference room.

New Substitute Sessions

We will hold substitute trainings for new & returning subs, and student teachers throughout the year. See below for dates & times during the fall semester.

Subs will learn about:

  • District policies & procedures
  • Child abuse prevention & suicide awareness
  • Safety & Security Training
  • Medical Issues in the classroom
  • Substitute Handbook
