"If I were again beginning my studies, I would follow the advice of Plato and start with mathematics." Galileo Galilei
Our students are so privileged to have teachers like you and schools like ours. This truth is brought to light each time we open a new campus, when students come in often far below grade level. However, thanks to your work, that will not be their destiny.
In order to better your own practice and make yourself even more effective at closing those gaps, check out the videos below as we highlight some teachers and the strong practices taking place in their classrooms. Also included: resources (also shared during PD week) aligned to the current unit of study.

I Do?
Watch the following video of Mr. Bachner, Assistant Principal at RDP, as he demonstrates how to equip students with Knowledge KP's prior to engaging in the "teacher model." Note how he breaks the objective down and asks students specific CFU's about each knowledge key point (terms include the "equals sign," "true," "false"), using that front page in the common plans.
