We are delighted to share with you our first set of Chelmer Champions! These students have been identified in their subjects for a range of reasons as you can see.
We would like to congratulate them all for being selected. They will be recognised in school and of course they will receive a reward. Well done!
Christmas Lunch
If your child has free school meals and would like a Christmas meal please reply to the Google form that was sent out on Friday 10th November.
An alternative menu will be provided on both days, in the dining room extension, for those not having a Christmas meal.

What's Been Happening This Week in Tutor Time?
This week in tutor time our students in Years 8 – 11 have been continuing to look at the 5 Ways to Wellbeing related to the elements of Give, Take Notice, Connect, Be Active and Keep Learning.
Year 8 –How observant are you?
Year 9 – Mindfulness
Year 10 – Be generous with praise
Year 11 – Careers and Kindness Project

The Year 7 students have continued with their Transition support programme which will run until February half term, this is to support them with all the changes they are currently facing.
Assemblies this week have been focused on anti-bullying week.
Prayer Space
Poppy Wreath
For Remembrance Day, 7C1 created a poppy wreath and wrote messages to those who fought in WW1. They also looked at the different meanings for different colour poppies and included these into the wreath as 7C1 are currently studying Private Peaceful in English.
Art Work of the Week
Congratulations to Darcy Porter 8L for winning Art Work of the Week with her fantastic self portrait, we loved the bold use of tone and sensitive observation.
Art Club
There are a few spaces available in Art Club.
Science Revision Guides, Workbooks and Cards
Science revision resources are now available to purchase via Wisepay for GCSE and KS3 students. Once purchased please bring a printout of the receipt to Mrs Wade in the Science office between 8.30am and 12.30pm, Monday to Friday.
We feel that these resources will help to support your child’s GCSE Science studies and prepare them for their final exams. Thank you for your continued support.

PE Fixtures - w/c 20th November
Please Note:
- Fixtures are subject to change.
- Students must check the team sheets on the notice boards in PE to check team and confirm timings.
Unfortunately we are no longer able to have parents come into school to watch their children in sporting fixtures. We appreciate this is very disappointing for both students and parents, however, we must adhere to the stringent safeguarding guidance given to us. We apologise for any inconvenience.
