Brewster Weekly
November 12, 2021
We are here to do good things for our students, our coworkers, and our community.
We represent qualities such as love, hope, kindness, respect, and responsibility.
Our culture mirrors those attributes. Let’s continue to make our school the best place to work and learn where everyone is inspired to be the best they can be. What we do, we do well.
Let’s keep the courage to shape a bright future for our students.

Adopt A Book is coming back Too! This is another great Brewster tradition & we are so excited to get this going! Brewster’s ‘Adopt’ a Book Program has been designed to enrich the book collection in the Media Center. You may ‘adopt’ a book to celebrate any occasion; birthdays, graduations, holidays, accomplishments, in honor of a special person, or to just give a gift. This program allows you to share your & your child’s love of reading with other Brewster students.
The process to adopt a book is very simple. For a $15.00 donation your child may choose a book from our selection of new books located in the media center. Once a book has been chosen, a dedication bookplate will be placed in the book with the child’s picture & another picture will be placed on the Adopt A Book Bulletin board outside the library. Your child will be the first to check out the book & it will be presented to them in front of their classmates. When the book is returned it will be a lovely new part of the Brewster Library & be available for all the students to enjoy! Please click on the letter for more information.
Media Center Donations: We accept & appreciate donations made to our school.
Right now we need:
*Markers! All kinds, colors & sizes!
*Small containers of new play-dough
*Old, random legos (or sets J)
*’Pipe cleaners’
Thanks so much! ~Mrs. O’Rourke
