Attendance Matters

We know that attendance directly impacts student achievement and gains, with this said, please be sure to schedule student appointments during school breaks or late afternoons to reduce the impact on learning. Together we will achieve great things! Please continue to ensure that your children come to school every day; and report to their classes on time.

Exams

Parents please ensure your child gets a good night rest, healthy breakfast, and comes to school on time with their laptop fully charged. It's important students arrive on time during exams.

PSAT

All students in the 8th grade are being provided with the opportunity to take the PSAT. This assessment is optional however, we do encourage all selected students to participate. The PSAT will assist in identifying your child's readiness for college and areas for improvement before taking the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). On January 4th, letters were sent home with students. To opt out, please ensure you return the letter before January 13.

Sports

We are in the final week before our next round of IMS athletic contests. The schedules for soccer and basketball are below, along with the students on the team. All soccer games are Wednesday after school at either Paradise Sports Park or North Collier Regional Park and all basketball games are Saturday mornings at Gulfcoast HS. The students get so excited to see their teachers at their games, and we would love to see you there!

Our athletes must maintain good behavior and need to have a 2.0 gpa.
