Teen Read Week - October 8-14
Celebrate Teen Read Week at PHS Media Center!
What is the Eliot Rosewater Indiana High School Book Award? The Eliot Rosewater Indiana High School Book Award (The Rosie Award) is chosen annually by students across Indiana in grades nine through twelve. Students at participating high schools and public libraries who read any of the approximately 25 nominated books are eligible to rate each book they've read. Ballots are available in the media center. The author of each year's award-winning book is invited to receive the Rosie Award in person at a special event in November.
2017 Teens' Top Ten Nominees announced!
Students can Vote Now!
The Teens' Top Ten is a "teen choice" list, where teens nominate and choose their favorite books of the previous year! Nominators are members of teen book groups in fifteen school and public libraries around the country. Nominations are posted on the Thursday of National Library Week, and teens across the country vote on their favorite titles each year. Readers ages twelve to eighteen will vote online between August 15 and Teen Read Week⢠(October 8-14, 2017) here on the Teens' Top Ten site. The winners will be announced the week after Teen Read Week.
See all the Teens' Top Ten books, plus titles from YALSA's other awards and booklists, in the Teen Book Finder App.
