Principal Professional Development Conference
July 18, 2019 at Conrad HS (7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.)
Dear Principals,
On July 18, 2019, all principals will have the opportunity to engage in a full day of learning dedicated to meeting the needs for English Learners and students receiving Special Education services. The day will be focused on supporting you to lead your campuses to be culturally responsive and provide all students with equitable access to a rigorous education by being mindful of their diverse needs.
Two required sessions have been selected for you and you will select three choice sessions to attend. Registrations are through Cornerstone. Please see below for details.

AGENDA
Principals will attend two required 90-minute sessions on 1) Dual Language or ESL and 2) Special Education. These sessions have already been assigned in Cornerstone for each individual principal. See attached Conference Required Sessions Guide to see your first two sessions.
Action Required
After lunch, there will be three 45-minute choice sessions on various topics specific to serving EL and students receiving Special Education services. Principals must register by Wednesday, June 26, 2019 for choice sessions in Cornerstone. See attached Conference Choice Sessions Guide. Please review the descriptions and select a topic by clicking the link on the Session Title under sessions 3, 4, and 5. You will select one topic under each session.
