School Drive through Parade - May 28, 10:30 - 11:30 am
Last day of school - May 29th!
Happy Friday Cheetahs!
ONE MORE WEEK!! Those words seemed larger and more bold when we were in the building, but I know you all are looking forward to having school work checked off and summer fun beginning. Our teachers are looking forward to seeing you one last time in our drive through parade on the 28th. See map below for information.
We had close to 550 bags of student materials picked up this week! Thank you to those of you who made it! We understand that some of you had events come up and were not able to make it. Many of you have contacted your teachers to make a plan for pick up. We will have one last chance for material pick up. If you have not arranged with your teacher or do not pick up, items will be disposed of on Friday, May 29th.
Congrats to all of our students who are completing this 19-20 school year. Each grade level or teacher has specific events that mimic our school year to celebrate! Specifically we hope our 5th graders had a chance to see the school sign celebrating your last days as an elementary student. We know you are going to be amazing in middle school!
Cypress Strong, Rooted in Community and Love,
Have a great weekend and week!
Student Materials Pick Up
If you have not already arranged with your teacher a time for pick up, we will have another opportunity
12:00-1:00 Thursday, May 28th
Use the front of the school by the MPR/Gym for pick up. Pull up to cones and staff will assist.
Yearbook deadline extended!
19 Yearbooks Left! Buy your Dr. Seuss themed yearbook here before June 30th.
UPDATE ON DISTRIBUTION: You will get yearbooks at the beginning of next school year. At that time, we will figure out how to distribute yearbooks to current 5th graders as well.
Thank you so much for everyone's patience! Questions? Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
2020 Senior and School Parade
Seniors will drive through Cypress Elementary and weave through the neighborhoods. Maps have been posted on social media. YOU and your neighbors can show our Seniors some love!
After we celebrate our seniors, WE CELEBRATE OUR CHEETAHS with a drive through parade on our campus. We MISS YOU and would love a chance to see your child's sweet face!
10:30-11:30 - Cheetahs can come to campus and drive through the route below to wave to teachers. We have suggested grade level times for traffic flow, but you can drive through as you need to. If you have multiple kiddos, chose a time! All teachers who are able to participate will be there the full time.
5th Grade Virtual Business Fair
Students and families of Cypress,
Our 5th graders have been working hard these last 2 weeks to design and market products for this year’s first ever Virtual Business Fair!
We are asking any Cypress students who would like to participate to look for an email from your Homeroom teacher on Tuesday, May 26th. This email will contain a link to our 5th Grade Business Fair product page and ’purchasing’ form.
Once your homeroom teacher emails the link to you, the window to participate will be open from Tuesday, May 26th until Wednesday, May 27th at 12 PM. We thank you in advance for your child’s participation and can’t wait to see the results!
