CRAYFISH, CRAYFISH, and MORE CRAYFISH! It's crayfish takeover week in Ms. Mountzoures' third grade classroom. Student's are reading, writing, exploring, and learning ALL about crayfish! It's a vibrant, engaging, and happy place to be! Student's were caught learning about crayfish territory, adaptations, habitat, life cycles, structures, and functions! Students in Room #304 are becoming EXPERTS! They were even reading informational text and writing essays about aquatic animals. Parent Opportunity - Social Emotional Learning Group

Dear Westborough Parents:

We are seeking to form a Parent CounSEL whose focus will be to learn about Social Emotional Learning (in Spanish) and help provide support and input in communicating this important work with other families and the community at large.

“Social and emotional learning starts at home. Parents and families are critical partners in helping their children develop social and emotional know-how.” Collaborative for Academic, Social and Emotional Learning (CASEL) 2019

Consider joining Westborough’s Parent SEL CounSEL starting late Winter/early Spring. Our initial plan is to meet 1-2 times prior to the end of the year based on the group's availability. We will then hope to reconvene in the Fall.

We are seeking a small, diverse group of parents across grade levels that are representative of our student body. If you are interested please apply HERE.

Please contact me if you have any questions.

Best regards,

Kim Tynan
