Strengthening Families
Create structure around work and school. Setting up (if possible) quiet spots for students to do their school work and a separate space for you to do your work can help establish boundaries around work/school and home time. If possible, keep work areas somewhere where you can close off the end of your day physically -- whether this means shutting a door or putting items away until the next day. Set an end time for your work/school and stick to it!
Connect to your clan. Use this forced togetherness to really be together. Set up a family night to watch a movie, have families meals without electronics, take a family walk outside to get some vitamin D and exercise. All this together time can be seen as an opportunity to really connect as a family.
Embrace not having somewhere else to be. Take advantage of the extra time you have not having to commute to work or school. You can choose to look at all the events your missing or focus on the positive aspects of being together with not much to do!
