Going For Saccharin
Everybody Uses It!
Saccharine
Health
Saccharin only has 4 calories and does not raise blood sugar levels. With this out of the 5 FDA-approved artificial sweeteners, saccharin is often chosen to be the safest. People who use saccharin as their sweetener have not shown to have simulate insulin production.
Everyday Living
Saccharin is in most of the things we consume or use everyday like baked goods, chewing gum, canned fruit, and salad dressing. Even the cosmetics we use have saccharin in it. If saccharine was not yet found cost of other sweeteners would be high with a weak demand of the sweeteners.
Studies
Test show that saccharin causes tumors to lab rats. Two things set this apart, one is that saccharin does not have the same effect on humans as they do on rats. Two, is that the tumors only occurred under extraordinary conditions and only in males. The World Health Organization says its " not classifiable as to its carcinogenicity to humans."
