Yelm Community Schools
May 17, 2022
MESSAGE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT
Lastly, we will celebrate the accomplishments of our staff, retirees and top 10 academic achievers at each school at School Board Honors and Awards Night on June 9 at 6 p.m. hosted at YHS Performing Arts Center.
Each of these celebrations will be in person and live streamed. Links are available below and on our district's website. Our student success is a success for the whole community.
The school board has selected three outstanding Yelm High School students who applied to become student representatives on the board. We are pleased to announce that Damian Aalona, Madisyn Erickson and Lilly Williams will be installed next September into the junior representative positions. Current junior representatives Quentin Robinson and Ileana Wall will move into the senior positions next year.
The three students are all highly engaged in leadership activities and athletics at Yelm High School and have a strong passion for serving their peers. They are the third group of rising juniors to be selected since the board adopted student representatives in 2020. Congratulations to all of our student representatives, and we are thankful for your commitment to service.
