BT GooseChase Take-Aways
What we hope you learned :)
Please see below for a list of key ideas that we hope you took away with you.
- Choice Boards can be used in all classes to help differentiate instruction for students.
- We should provide activities that meet the various needs of our students. The "What's My Style" and "Bloom's Matrix" activities will help ensure you are designing instruction for multiple learning styles.
- Many of the activities can be adapted for your own classroom with your content. Examples: "Natural Leader", "Literary Genius", "Schoolnet Master", and "Tweeter".
- It is important to incorporate activities that require critical thinking, such as the "Marshmallow Challenge", "Problem Solver", and "Create with Coding" challenges.
- Reminder to incorporate activities that encourage collaboration.
- Some students are motivated by game or challenge-based activities.
- Brain breaks help students stay focused and attentive.
- You have a great network of peers! Remember there are lots of folks in the same boat. Reach out and connect!
