Year 1
Newsletters
Week 11
Well, it's finally arrived! My last newsletter! What a year and how fast it seems to have gone! I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for your wonderful support. Your children are amazing! They have taught me so much! I haven't had so much fun ever! It is with sadness though, that I say goodbye to the the Douglass and Newell families. I will miss you, Ben and Riley have been such delights to teach. And what else can I say? My memories will stay with me forever, Amelie and Annika speaking about their Great Grandfather, (which brought tears to my eyes), Poppy, Kye and Alana with their beautiful smiles and sunny dispositions, Tommy, Sam and Charley itching to get out for sport, Maya, Sabine, Sian, Lily and Andie for their stunning art work, Henry for his wonderful ability to entertain us and to make us laugh, Teddy and Samuel for always helping me when I didn't know the answers, Maggie, Persia, Hazel and Leila for being such wonderful, kind-hearted children, Finn for putting in 110% with everything he does, Bede for being so happy and joyful, Rowan for always being there to help with me with I.T. and Emma, such a trustworthy and reliable child, always looking out for her brothers. They are a credit to you. I'm so proud of them and I'm so looking forward to their future achievements.
Our last photos of Year 1 are from the Colour Run. Thank you to Jazmine who took the photos.
I have attached a link to a slideshow of some of our photos from the year. If you can't open the link please send a thumb drive to school next year and I'll copy that and our mini movie for you. They are very special memories of the faces and voices of Year 1.
A huge thank you to everyone for the lovely words written on cards (and envelopes) and your thoughtful gifts. I have been overwhelmed with emotion.
Have a safe and happy holiday.
Regards, Kerrie
