Sensory Stations - A Work in Progress - Need your help!
In all of this new learning, our school would like to build SENSORY STATIONS for ALL classrooms. Our students have been researching items that might be beneficial for this station. We have some grant money to build a sensory room later in the year, but we need a few items donated to build sensory stations for each classroom.
If you would like to help us build those stations, please see this Amazon link. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3W0P2S4ZZFIHX?ref_=wl_share
You can purchase for our school straight from this link, and it will get shipped directly to us.
Please view the following video to understand more about the benefits and usage of a sensory station. (Please note, the video uses the verbiage peace corrner, but we will be calling ours sensory station.)
We appreciate your support!

Drop off in the morning - you MUST drive around the school for drop off. The front of the school is for bus traffic only. You may park and walk in your child, but by no means are you allowed to pull up and drop off in the front of the school in the morning. No dropping-off students in the parking lot, letting them cross, and come into school on their own. Our school safety officer will be enforcing that drop-off procedures are done properly.

Have you ever thought of being a substitute teacher? If so, we NEED you!
It's almost Thanksgiving! It's almost Christmas! Every year we scurry to make a difference in disadvantaged children's lives during the holidays. Toys, clothes, and food are all wonderful things to give children, but most of all... our children need role models.
We need people with a calling to serve others in our schools daily. Substitutes are needed who truly desire to make an impact in children's lives. It's more difficult than cutting a check or cleaning out a closet, but your interaction with students might be the relationship that points a child toward a beautiful life.
Please consider giving the most impacting gift that you can this year... yourself. If you feel moved to help our students, please contact the central office at (812)482-1801.

Volunteers!
Anyone who would like to volunteer at school or chaperone a field trip must submit a background check. Once this is done, it is good as long as your child is a student at Ireland. If you aren't sure if you have completed one, your child's teacher can look it up for you. Background Check Link
