Title I Annual Parent Notice
Our school receives federal funds for programs that are part of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), as amended (2015). Throughout the school year, we will continue to provide you with important information about this law and your child's education. Based on current education law, teachers must have earned State certification and licensure. State certification and licensure is the training required to be a teacher.
You have the right to request information about the professional qualifications of your child’s teacher(s) or paraprofessional(s). A paraprofessional provides academic or other support for students under the direct supervision of a teacher. If you request this information, the district or school will provide you with the following as soon as possible. Below you will find the form you must submit to obtain this information. Please reach out to us with any questions.

This is an opportunity for students to have a part in what Merlo represents in our district. Students demonstrate leadership, compassion, strong communication skills and work to make Merlo a safe, inclusive and forward thinking learning community. Leadership will meet weekly to discuss the direction of the club and possible actions to be taken. For more information contact Peggy_delay@beaverton.k12.or.us
Community School Outreach
News from the CUBE!
All students who plan to attend 4-year university or community college, need to apply for financial aid. Many of our seniors will qualify for grant money to help them pay for post-high school education. Grant money is not a loan, it doesn't need to be paid back. It's the best kind!
Seniors will be asking you for some help. They will need access to your 2019 tax information and you will need to sign their application.
These guides are my favorite resource on FAFSA because they are simple, helpful, and easy to understand. I encourage you to take a look!
If your student will file an ORSAA application, please watch this short informational video:

Mercado de Merlo- Merlo Market
Merlo Station Campus now has a small food and home supplies market; Mercado de Merlo is for the students and families in all of our programs. We receive some food from local partners and the rest is donated by supporters. Mercado is open by appointment only and measures are in place to ensure safety. Contact Erin Wirtz at email@example.com or the Merlo Main office to make an appointment.
