Dear MHS Parents and Guardians,
The educational landscape has certainly changed quite a bit since my last newsletter. Schools have been impacted by the recent surge in COVID cases in Massachusetts and around the world. I commend our students, staff and families for coming together to keep us moving forward over the past few weeks. With that in mind, I would like to highlight just a few of the many efforts that all of our community members have made to support us.
Our staff members have been covering classes for each other to make sure our students receive the highest quality education during this time.
Our substitute teachers are coming in day after day to support our students and staff.
Our facilities team has kept our building clean and warm, even during some extremely cold weather days.
Our nurses are supporting staff, students, and families as they navigate through some very difficult situations.
Our office assistants continue to be the smiling face of our school. They bring a positive energy to our building as they interface with the entire community.
While these efforts have been vital to the progress of our school, it would not be possible without our students. Thank you to all of our MHS students, who have come together as a community to support each other as we navigate yet another bump in the road. Day in and day out, you wake up in the morning, put your mask on and make a positive contribution to our school community. I look forward to seeing how you continue to take care of yourselves and each other over the next few weeks.
Sincerely,
Tim Tichacek
Principal
