This TV series revolves around an elite team of FBI profilers who analyze the country's most twisted criminal minds, anticipating their next move and getting ahead of the criminal before they strike again. The Behavioral Analysis Unit's most leading agent, David Rossi (Joe Mantegna), is a founding member of the BAU. The Head of the BAU is led by Special Agent Aaron Hotchner (Thomas Gibson), who is a family man, is able to gain people's trust and unlock their secrets. Each member of the BAU brings his or her own area of expertise to the table as they pinpoint predators' motivations and identify their emotional triggers in the attempt to stop the killings.

Forensic Chemistry helps immensely while investigating a crime scene. When a victim has been bitten or shot. Chemists will analyze and match the bite mark or the gun shell that may have been left behind. Hoping to find dental records they will be closer to finding the criminal with the help of Forensic Chemists.
