Director's Message
It is really hard to believe this is the last full month of school. Even though the school year is coming to an end we still have many exciting events planned for this month.
On Friday, April 29 we will host our 6th annual Lemonade Stand to raise money for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life event in Jupiter. This year Tree Top has formed its own team. We will bring all the money raised from our Lemonade stand to the event.
Themed Basket Raffle
During the week of May 2-6, our PTO will be hosting a raffle to raise money for more playground equipment. Each classroom created a basket to be raffled off to the lucky winner on Friday, May 6 at 12pm. Tickets will be on sale Monday morning and throughout the week.

What is the Project Approach?
The Project Approach is a method of teaching in which an in-depth study of a particular topic of interest is conducted by children. Children are naturally curious and love to investigate their environment (Katz, 1995). The approach allows children to ask questions about topics that interest them and then deliberately focus on finding the answer to their questions through investigation. This approach is part of the Reggio Emilia philosophy of “learning by doing” and through group discussions.
