OMEA Large Group Contest
Student Report Time~ 1:15pm to the band room (change, load)
Student Departure Time~ 2:00pm
Concert Band Performance~ 4:00pm on Stage 2 (gym)
Symphonic Band Performance~ 6:10pm on Stage 1 (theater)
Parents, this event is free and open to the public. So come and support your musicians! Please note, the performance schedule is strictly followed, if you arrive late for a performance, you will not be permitted to enter the stage area. So plan ahead and be early. Also, recording or photography in the performance area of any kind is prohibited. Please keep your cameras and phones in your pockets during the performance.
Please make sure your band members bring some money for the concession stand so they can eat some dinner. We will be returning to SVHS around 8:30pm.

Be Part of the Toledo Symphony's Tweet Seats
On Saturday, February 18, 2017 join other students from Sylvania and participate in Tweet Seats! During our “Evening with Haydn” concert, tweeters will be sitting in the back of the Franciscan Center with phones silenced and dimmed. They will tweet questions or comments to TSO’s Twitter account (@toledosymphony) and the TSO will respond in real time!
Tickets for tweeters from the Sylvania Schools are FREE! Other tweeters pay just $10. Call the TSO Box Office to reserve your tickets: 419-246-8000.

Resident Conductor Sara Jobin leads our Toledo Symphony in a performance that brings life to the idyllic countryside. Associate Concertmaster Tea Prokes steps into the spotlight, performing the glorious and melodic Vaughan-Williams showpiece, The Lark Ascending. A pair of Haydn symphonies complete this pastoral evening.
