All Meet the Teacher night attendees will receive an email from your child’s new teacher by the end of the day Wednesday, August 3rd.

Please enter through the front doors of the school for our Meet the Teacher event.

Any student who has not completed in person/ online registration prior to Meet the Teacher night (registration details above) will need to attend Student Registration in the gym on August 4th. Enter & Exit through the exterior gym door into the parking lot. Please note that this event is completely separate from Meet the Teacher night.

Updated school times are 8:10a.m. - 3:45 p.m. Official attendance time is 10:00 a.m. Parents may not drop off children prior to 7:35.

All transportation changes will need to be requested through kmetransportation@newcaneyisd.org by 3:15 p.m.

Please understand that our car rider lines will be delayed for the first two weeks of school as we acclimate our staff and new students to our car rider procedures. Our commitment to student safety is always our top priority.

The car rider pass request form for this school year is available online. Previously-completed car rider forms will be available in your child's classroom at Meet the Teacher Night. Car rider passes from previous years are no longer valid. A new pass must be requested each year. No child will be picked up from the car rider line without a car rider pass. You will be required to walk to the office and present your I.D., as your child's safety is our number 1 concern.

Additionally, we will have leftover yearbooks for sale at Meet the Teacher Night. Last years' yearbooks are available for $30; all other years are available for $5.

Please note that registration must be completed PRIOR to our Meet the Teacher event in order to have your child placed in a classroom in time to meet his/her teacher. If this process is not completed prior to, your child will not have a teacher assigned when they arrive to Meet the Teacher night.

Returning Student Registration

Parents or guardians of returning students should complete online registration by utilizing Skyward's Family Access System to enter or verify student information for registration. If you do not have your username, haven't received a reset email, or have problems entering the system, contact your student's campus or call 281-577-8615 or email PEIMS@newcaneyisd.org. Upon completion of online registration, you will receive instructions if you are required to provide any further documentation, such as proof of residency or immunization records. For individuals who may be unable to fully access the online registration system, you may register in person. New Caney ISD provides kiosks to assist parents or guardians with the registration process.

Please make every effort to complete registration for your child prior to Meet the Teacher night to ensure your child is placed into a class and you receive your child’s teacher's name and room number prior to our Meet the Teacher event.
