emerging leader applications are open
If you are ready to grow your leadership skills to the next level NCSCA’s Emerging Leaders Program is just for you. Emerging Leaders have an opportunity to observe the inner workings of NCSCA’s Board of Directors as they plan and implement programs and supports for North Carolina’s Professional School Counselors.
As a result of the experience, many of our Emerging Leaders have contributed their leadership and talents to the next level by serving NCSCA as President, President-Elect and Treasurer. One of our wonderful 2015-2016 Emerging Leaders, Mrs. Durenda Ward, is a finalist for ASCA’s 2016 School Counselor of the Year!
The potential is also there for you!!!

On a personal note, I became involved with NCSCA through the Emerging Leader program. I have nothing but good things to say about the program and the support it can provide. Please consider applying if you would like to be more involved in our wonderful profession!
