Principal's Corner
February has also been set aside as Black History Month. While we take time this month to celebrate the stories and contributions of black Americans, at Lietz we continue to strive to include these important stories throughout the year.
Our collective stories create our culture and community. One of the amazing things about Lietz is we have a diverse group of learners and we are able to share our stories and learn together. Empowering every student to see themselves in the literature we use, and the stories we tell is important.
As educators we always want to equip our students to share their stories. As I have met many of you, the stories you tell of your family and your experience at Lietz help me as I get to know all of you. Your story matters and I look forward to hearing the stories of every learner.
I am looking forward to the amazing stories we will tell together in the future as we come together and celebrate each other in the community.
