Learners participated in a CSI activity. Their goal was to expose the spies selling PRS secrets. Our learners examined hand writing samples and finger prints as well as decoded messages. This enabled them to apply forensics skills learned in science as well as gain a deeper understanding of the feelings and tensions Americans experienced during the Cold War.

To prepare for their debate, they researched using credible sources to support their claims and then wrote argumentative essays. They used their essays as as part of their openning speech when participating in a team debate.
