Blended AT HOME Learning Expectations (PLEASE READ)
Because of this unique situation, it is imperative that students not miss their in person days, come late, or leave early. Please make every effort to schedule all appointments and other non academic activities for their virtual days - keeping in mind students will still have work to complete on their virtual days.
Students will still LIVE ZOOM with SPECIALS TEACHERS on their virtual days, EXCEPT PE.
Blended IN SCHOOL Information (Please Read)
School begins at 9:05am. Students cannot be in the building before 8:40am.
School ends at 4:00pm.
"A" students will attend school on Monday and Tuesday. They are virtual Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
"B" students will attend school on Thursday and Friday. They will be virtual on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
It is the expectation that on days they are not in class, they are still logging into Canvas and completing their work. It is imperative that they not miss an in person day as these days will be very important when completing their online coursework.
Unfortunately we cannot allow parents to walk their students to class or enter the building. We will escort your student to class each day.
Students MUST wear a mask at all times. We cannot allow students to stay in the building if they do not have on a mask. They will be given mask breaks throughout the day. The only time they will have masks off in the building is during their lunch/snack periods.
We will need you to send in the school supplies purchased with the student on the first day back. Please make sure you still have some basic supplies at home (paper, pencil, scissors, crayons) so if we go to virtual learning again, they are prepared.
Devices will be carried to and from school for the duration of the year as students will begin on a hybrid schedule and only be at school 2 days a week. The other 3 days a week they will continue virtual learning.
Every student needs a water bottle, mask, and device each day. Water fountains will not be turned on, but water bottle filling stations are available. Students may carry all of this in a backpack.
Breakfast and Lunch will be provided free for all students through December. If you are providing a lunch or breakfast for your student from home, we ask that you send it in disposable containers.
Please remember we must adhere to the dress code policy. Shorts must be no more than 2 inches above the knee and tank tops are not acceptable. Please make sure clothes do not have holes in them or inappropriate language/pictures.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR STUDENTS HAVE THEIR MASK, WATER BOTTLE, DEVICE AND CHARGER. They may carry a backpack.

Codivate Missouri!
More than ever, learning how to code is a crucial part of understanding how the world works, no matter what you do or where you’re from.
Codivate is a completely student-run nonprofit organization dedicated to helping kids develop their computational thinking skills and teaching them how to create practical programs with code.
All too often, students turn to traditional coding programs that place emphasis on the nitty-gritty language-specific details of it all. Codivate uses the dynamic combination of hands-on activities and carefully curated curriculum to make learning coding as fun as it can be.
