Understanding Substance Abuse
2017-18 Conversations that Matter series; Session 1
MCCHS Conversations that Matter: Understanding Substance Abuse
The first in this series addresses concerns about teens and substance abuse, including drugs, alcohol, and smoking/vaping.
We will have a variety of speakers to address this first topic, featuring:
- Ms. Laura Crain, from the McHenry County Substance Abuse Coalition
- Ms. Judy Pasternack, a Behavioral Health/Substance Abuse Educator, and
- Mr. Patrick Kenneally, from the McHenry County State's Attorney's Office
We will also have a priest that will address the Church's perspective on this issue. Feel free to click on any of the speakers' names for a brief bio about them.
Please join us as we talk about these tough issues and look for real solutions together.
