On a typical school day, SPARK will be after period 5 on Thursday/Friday, however, we will kick off Orientation in this class, where they will meet their Advisory teacher and receive important information.
- Any student unable to view their schedule on Infinite Campus prior to Orientation Week may stop by the Student Services Office before 8:00am on their scheduled Orientation Day for assistance.
Lockers
No Academic Lockers (students to use backpacks/bookbags):
With only half of our students present in the school daily, this allows for each student to carry their own backpack throughout the day. Students should plan on being self-sufficient with their backpack items and plan on taking everything home, every day.
Lockers for Physical Education:
Students are asked to dress in athletic clothing with tennis shoes on the days they are in school for physical education. Students will be allowed to store items in lockers during their physical education class period and quickly change clothes as necessary. Each student is required to provide their own lock.
Lockers for Students in Cocurricular Athletics
Students will be allowed to store items in athletic lockers during the school day they attend. They may quickly change clothes before practice. Each student is required to provide their own lock. There is no overnight storage for these items.
Our Orientation week schedule is for students only.

District 196 Approved Masks and Face Coverings
Unless an exception applies, all students, staff, and other people present indoors in school buildings and district offices or riding on school transportation vehicles are required to wear a face covering.
A face covering must be worn to cover the nose and mouth completely, should not be overly tight or restrictive, and should feel comfortable to wear. The following are included in the definition of face covering:
- Paper or disposable mask;
- Cloth face mask;
- Scarf;
- Neck gaiter;
- Bandana;
- Religious face covering; and
- Medical-grade masks and respirators
Masks that incorporate a valve designed to facilitate easy exhaling, mesh masks, or masks with openings, holes, visible gaps in the design or material, or vents are not sufficient face coverings because they allow exhaled droplets to be released into the air.
A face shield is not approved as a face covering without a mask. It is a clear plastic barrier that covers the face. A face shield does not provide the same level of protection as a face covering, and may only be used as an alternative to a face covering in certain situations. See link below for more information.
For exceptions and alternatives please review the information at the link below.
