Attendance and Girls State Volleyball

Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Volleyball team! They are District Champs and are playing at State this week! Their first game is Thursday, November 7th, at 1:30 pm in Lincoln.

IF you plan on giving your student permission to leave school to attend this volleyball game, please let Brenda Jung know as soon as possible.

Please email the following information to bjung@paplv.org:

  1. The word "STATE" in the subject field.
  2. Your student's name
  3. The time you would like your student to be released from school. Choose one of the following times: 8:50 am, 9:45 am, 10:40 am, 11:00 am, 11:55 am, or absent the whole day. The athletes are leaving school at 11:00 am.

We are releasing students at the end of class periods this year. No passes will be delivered. Please let your student know the time he/she may leave. Once that bell rings, your student may leave the building. Brenda will have your student’s absence recorded in his/her attendance record.

If your student is involved in a school sponsored activity, you do not need to contact Brenda. Your student will be on the activity list.

If your student will be riding the school bus for student fans, you do not need to contact Brenda Jung. Your permission slip will place your student on the excused list.

***Please note that by giving your student permission to leave school to attend the volleyball game, his/her attendance will be excused, but this absence WILL count as one of the 20 days of absences allowed per school year.

Thank you for your help! Go Monarchs!!
