Reminder:
Great news! We are extending the window for our Family survey to Thursday, April 14. You can continue to access the survey through your phone, computer or screen reader. We highly encourage you to participate in this district wide survey. With this extra time and your responses we can all make a difference in your child's learning experience and your experience at our campus. Complete the survey by clicking here. Remember this will help us to better serve you and our students.

Parents please remind your child to bring their Chromebooks charged every day to school and that your child is coming in proper dress code every day. All students must be in black or khaki pants/shorts/skirts. 6th-grade students in a green polo shirt, 7th-grade students in a white polo shirt and 8th-grade students in black polo shirts. Pajama pants and blue jeans are not allowed.
COVID-19 Reminders - Please keep your child home if:
- Your child has tested positive for COVID-19
- Your child is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 (contact the school)
- Your child is awaiting COVID test results because he/she is symptomatic
- Your child resides in the same household as someone who is positive for COVID-19 (contact the school)
- If your child has been in close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19, please contact the school immediately for further instructions. (512-414-3265)
We will continue to practice effective safety measures. We will continue to have masks available for students when needed.

Bedichek Springfest
Parents and community members,
We are excited to announce that Bedichek is hosting a celebration on April 22nd from 5-8 pm. There will be games, food, a dunk tank and performances by our talented students, past and present.
The PTA will be selling T-Shirts to commemorate the occasion. Students can also wear these shirts to school on Friday spirit days as part of their dress code. The final price will depend on the amount ordered, but will not be more than $15. If you'd like to pre-order a t-shirt, please fill out the google form linked below. If you would like to order multiple shirts, please fill out one form for each shirt requested. Click here to pre-order your shirts.

Register all AISD students for 2022-2023
Register for the 2022-2023 school year
All returning Austin ISD students are required to register every school year. When registering you will be able to update all information. This will help us to maintain a better communication with you. Click on the link to get started and sign in to your Parent Portal. Returning Students | Austin ISD
We will have registration assistance for parents needing it every week from Monday- Thursday from 9am-2:45pm. You must contact Ms. Moore or Ms. Martinez to schedule an appointment.

Standardized Dress Code
SHIRTS
· Grade-Level Solid Color Polo-style shirt (short or long sleeve) with collar and no logos or insignias (Bedichek insignia OK)
8th Grade – Black
7th Grade – White
6th Grade – Kelly or Forest Green
PANTS/SKIRTS
· Solid black or khaki slacks or
· Solid black or khaki jeans (no designs or ornamentation on pants or pockets) or
· Knee length solid black or khaki shorts (no Cargo Pants) or
· Knee-length Solid black or khaki skirts or capri-style pants (girls)
MASK
· Wear a mask that covers the mouth and nose/ cannot be red or have any images that administration deems inappropriate (Bandanas, neck gaiters and face mask with air vents will not be allowed)
SHOES
· Shoes may be any color with the exception of being majority red or blue.
· Shoes may use any laces that are not majority red or blue. Shoes must be close toed and close heeled.
SOCKS
· Socks may be any color with the exception of being majority red or blue.
BELT
· All black, all white, all green, or all brown – plain, no ornaments or other colors
OTHER
· All white, all black, or all green undershirt may be worn under Polo-style shirt
· Backpacks may be any color with the exception of being majority red or blue.
· Outerwear– Sweatshirts/Sweaters can be any color other than majority red or blue. They may have hoods, be button-up, zipper style or pullover. Winter coats/jackets are not a part of the dress code; therefore, all styles are acceptable. However, coats/jackets may not be worn in the classroom.
· Oversized and/or undersized clothing, as determined by staff, will not be permitted.
*The purpose of the Bedichek Dress Code is to create a unified academic focus on campus. Students who cannot provide their own clothing should contact our Parent Support Specialist for assistance. All students are required to participate daily. Dress Code checks will take place daily.
