Summer Edition 2019

Report Cards, Summer School, & Scheduling!

Happy Summer! Report cards will be in the mail as well as summer school letters next week. If your child needs to take a class during summer school at the end of July please call as soon as possible when you have received the letter.

August Regents Exams will take place on Tuesday August 13th and Wednesday August 14th. The schedule of exams is listed under important dates. If your child would like to re-take an exam or failed a June exam please call Mrs. Venne at (518) 565-5810 to sign up for the August exam. If teachers are available to hold review sessions we will contact you!

Final Transcripts for seniors were uploaded to the Common App or SUNY App last Friday and transcripts that need to be mailed (CCC, NCCC, Paul Smith's, schools in Canada etc.) will go out this week.

Mrs. Rosenbaum and Mrs. Sproule are currently working on the master schedule with plans to mail schedules home sometime at the end of July. If any graduating senior has any questions or needs anything before starting college or work in the fall do not hesitate to contact us.

Mrs. Rosenbaum and Mrs. Sproule will be in this summer from July 1st-July 30th, and then again August 26th-30th. Summer hours in the counseling office are 9am-2:30pm. Mrs. Venne will be here as well throughout the summer.

Freshmen Open House

We will be offering a freshmen open house on Wednesday, August 28th from 5-7pm. We encourage all freshmen to attend if possible! This will be a great opportunity for students to meet their teachers, walk their schedule, see their classrooms, get their lockers, learn about our clubs etc. If you have an older junior or senior that would like to help out please have them contact Mrs. Rosenbaum or Mrs. Sproule via Schoology or by phone.

Senior Parent/Student Night

Save the date! Senior night will be Monday, September 16th at 6pm in LGI in the High School. This is the night to learn about graduation requirements, college applications etc and should not be missed!

August SAT and September ACT

Please note that if your child signed up for the August SAT that exam will be taking place on Saturday, August 24th. The final date for regular registration is July 26th. For additional fees you can register as late as August 6th.
