Lansing Elementary Weekly Update
Newsletter for Lansing Elementary School Families
March 30-April 5, 2020
The last few weeks have been a whirlwind, haven’t they? None of us could have imagined when we left for Spring Break that we would be engaging in a continuous learning plan (CLP) for the remainder of the school year.
Your Lansing Elementary Staff have been working round-the-clock to provide a quality continuous learning plan template for your students to work on their essential learning targets for the remainder of the school year. Everyone has had a role and the level of collaboration has been outstanding!
By now, you should have received information about the Lansing Elementary School continuous learning plan (CLP). If your family has not been contacted by an LES staff member, please reach out to your classroom teacher to get updated and connected.
This will be a dynamic process as we proceed through the 4th quarter. Staff may adjust the continuous learning plan to meet the needs of our students and their family along the way. We also know that each family is faced with unique circumstances. Please know our staff is here to help, please communicate your needs and we will do our best to support you any way we can.
This is an amazing opportunity for our staff and parents to model GRIT, FLEXIBLE-THINKING, and ADAPTABILITY to our students. These are essential life-skills that all of our students need to practice and learn as they grow. We are all in this together and have the same goal, which is to provide the best continuous learning opportunity under the most difficult circumstances.
Sending your family wishes of strength, love, and good health!

Connections through Photos
Please use the above link to connect to a PADLET site for Lansing Elementary School. We are inviting students and their family to post pictures of their adventures during our continuous learning plan.
This week send us a picture with your pet(S). If you don't have a pet-send us a picture with the kind of pet you wish you had. A giraffe? An elephant? It doesn't hurt to dream about having a unique and wonderful pet.
We can't wait to see your pictures!
