Thursday, April 22nd is Earth Day

Earth Day is an annual event celebrated around the world on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. This year's Earth Day theme of "Restore Our Earth" examines natural processes, emerging green technologies and innovative thinking that can restore the world's ecosystems.

What can we do as kids, families or as a school to help restore our earth?

Here are some things we can do every day to do our part:

- Recycle whatever you can! Paper, aluminum cans, plastic bottles, etc.

- Avoid using disposable plastic water bottles but if you do, please recycle them!

- Place your trash where it belongs - in the trash can! Don't Litter!

- Try not to waste water, turn off the water while brushing your teeth!

- Spread the word, share these tips with those around you === Let's show our support this Earth Day and wear GREEN on 4/22
