From the CCR Administration
Please read and review carefully.
Dear CCR students:
We hope your semester goes well. As you matriculate, it is important to keep in mind the certification/licensure requirements of your state of residence, if any, so that you're prepared to fulfill those requirements after graduation.
To that end, we researched every state and provided the most recent and most helpful website information regarding court reporting certification/licensure. Some states have court reporting state boards, others only have state associations, others only have a social media presence, and still others have a judicial branch of government that oversees certification/licensing. Please review this spreadsheet (http://www.ccr.edu/Docs/StateCertificationLinks.xlsx) and then click on your state's link or copy and paste the link into your web browser for more information.
PLEASE NOTE:
1. For all voice writing information, go to:
https://nvra.org/nvra-certifications
2. Although some states may not have any certification/licensure requirements for court reporters, CCR strongly suggests that graduates pursue their Registered Professional Reporter (RPR) certification through the National Court Reporters Association (NCRA).
If you have any questions, please contact Natalie Kijurna, Director of Alumni & Employer Relations, at natalie.kijurna@ccr.edu or 866-294-3974 ext. 229.
Thank you!
