Principal’s Message
Dear Jackson Grownups,
Snow in April?! That was a fun surprise this morning, but a little rough after such nice weather last week. The kids were VERY excited to have a couple extra hours at home. As a reminder, please remember to send your student with a jacket to school, and a spare change of clothes in their backpack. Its pretty cold outside, (especially today), and we are outside rain or shine. They can play undercover, but its still breezy, and we don't have extra clothes for them to change into.
With the extra wet weather today, our field is closed for play. However, we are noticing more often that dogs have been on campus leaving droppings in the grass. Dogs are not allowed on campus, even on the weekend. As you know, this is very hard to enforce, and we could use your help. Please pass the word to friends and neighbors to avoid using our field with dogs (especially if they aren't going to pick up after their pets).
Thanks for your help! Please reach out with any questions, and have a fabulous week.
Kind regards,
Kasia Gutierrez
