Lyon School Learning Center News
In order to encourage a love of literature, the LRC has relaxed its circulation policy, allowing children to check out multiple books at a time. If you are unsure of the status of your child's account, please contact Ms. Steiger at ssteiger@glenview34.org.
Please remember all books are due back to the Lyon School Learning Center by Friday, May 24th. If your child does not return materials, you will receive an overdue notice with the replacement fees associated. Any books not returned by the end of the school year will require a replacement fee. If a book is located after a payment has been made, The LRC refunds any fees associated with returned items. Thanks for helping your child return their reading materials back to our Learning Resource Center!

From the Lyon Art Room
We are gathering supplies for an outdoor art room!! While you begin preparing your yard for summer, the art room has a request from all of you landscapers. We are looking for "tree cookies". What's a tree cookie?! A tree cookie is a 1"-2" slice of a think branch or trunk to form a thin round section of that branch/trunk. AND if you are chopping up smaller branches (no smaller than 1" diameter) we would love cuts of 2", 3" and up to 4" tall. We will be using the tree cookies and branch cylinders to build with and to build on like natural blocks. Please send donations to the Lyon School art room. Thank you, - Mary Tapia mtapia@glenview34.org

- When leaving our South lot, cars cannot turn left onto Sunset Ridge
- Please do not block our North lot exit when waiting on Sunset Ridge
