We Are Together Tamanend!

June 3, 2013

Congratulations 8th Grade Softball District Champs!

International Food Day

Last Friday we enjoyed International Food Day sponsored by our World Language Department. Students, parents, and teachers prepared and served authentic French and Spanish dishes for our world language learners and teachers. It was muy delicioso! Merci!

Parent Portal

It is always a good time to check the Parent Portal for your student's progress in school. We like to think of it as a "springboard for discussion" between parents and students. With just a few weeks left in the 4th marking period, please take a moment to look together at your student's current progress. If they are missing work, please support them in creating a plan to complete that work. If you have any questions, please contact the teacher.

Retired TMS Teacher Talks about Vietnam

We appreciate Mr. Ed Walsh, retired Tamanend Physical Education Teacher, for returning to TMS to talk to our 9th Grade Social Studies students about his experience as a Vietnam War Veteran.

Talent Show

Each year, students and staff look forward to the Talent Show as a way to celebrate another year at Tamanend together. We fill the Auditorium. This being the case, if your son or daughter is performing in the Talent Show, the day for parents to attend is after school on June 12th. Thank you for your support and understanding.
