PTA still has a few Menger Tshirts available for $12.00. They will also be selling pizza & snacks and giving away door prizes. Please join us!

Dress Code Reminder

Parents, please be reminded of our Menger Texan Dress Code. Students may wear solid colored t-shirts (no designs). Ripped jeans, jeans with designs or leggings are not allowed.

A copy of the dress code is attached for your review. Please contact the school if you need assistance with dress code clothing.

On Fridays, students may purchase a No Uniform Today (N.U.T.) pass for $1.00. Students without a pass are expected to follow our regular dress code.

Extra Curricular Clubs at Menger

Information has been sent home for anyone interested in joining a club at Menger. Please be on the lookout for information from Garden Club, Techies, Student Council, Spirit Team and Destination Imagination (DI).

Tardies

School starts at 7:50 a.m. this year. Any student who arrives after 7:50 a.m. will be counted tardy. Students who arrive after 8:05 a.m. will have a partial day absence recorded for the day. Please be sure that your child is in class no later than 7:50 a.m. A drawing will be held for students who do not have any tardies. Winners will be announced on the M-TEX Morning News and in our digital news bulletin.

Traffic

Thank you for your continued patience as we adjust our dismissal procedures to avoid the road construction on Alameda. Please remember that Brownlee & Southern Streets are one-way streets between the hours of 12pm - 4pm. Students are dismissed from the back pavilion at 3:05 p.m. If you would like your child to walk to a designated area in the neighborhood, please make arrangements with the teacher. On rainy and/or inclement weather days, we will dismiss the students from inside the building.
